Keilidh (Kay-lee) Corkill: Is a second-year Mi’kmaw and Gaelic medical student at Dalhousie University. She holds deep pride in her heritage and a strong passion for language, which led her to begin learning the Mi’kmaw language three years ago. During her undergraduate studies, with a major in Chemistry, she was fortunate to take Mi’kmaw language electives at Dalhousie. Through this experience, she has become deeply inspired by the knowledge, teachings, history, and spirituality carried within the Mi’kmaw language.
