Research & Innovation

Our work explores the lived experiences of those navigating serious illness, diverse losses, and grief. We identify gaps in care, understand community needs, and develop solutions grounded in dignity, compassion, and equity. Research findings inform our advocacy, strengthen partnerships, and guide the design of education and awareness initiatives across the province.

Partners & Collaborators

Strong partnerships enable us to advance palliative care and grief support across Nova Scotia. We collaborate with academic institutions, healthcare organizations, community groups, hospice societies, and diverse communities to build evidence, share knowledge, and co-create locally-driven solutions.

Our partnerships strengthen research capacity, inform policy and practice, and ensure that the voices of those with lived experience shape how care and support are delivered in our province.
