Mary Ellen Macdonald is a Professor at Dalhousie University in the Division of Palliative Medicine. Mary Ellen’s research program focuses on death and grief literacy, using community-based research approaches and ethnographic methodologies. She holds the J & W Murphy Foundation Endowed Chair in Palliative Care, a role that carries a provincial mandate to strengthen and advance P-EOL care across Nova Scotia.
