RSW Community Grief Facilitator – Western and Central
Rune Black is a Queer former Youth in Care, Death Doula and RSW that holds her Masters in Social Work, and has dedicated the last seven years on the frontline of the Downtown East Side of Vancouver. During this time, Rune specialized in Harm Reduction, Trauma & Crisis, outreach, Perinatal Substance Use, 2SLGBTQIA+ Grief care, group/individual Counselling, mental health, activism, and internal medicine. Rune utilizes her lived, academic and professional experience with grief to inform her practice and strives to provide education and care that is accessible, empathetic, and rich in sustainable community connection.
