Halifax

My mom was loved by many, champion of the less fortunate, and a pillar of both the Lebanese and Canadian communities. She had a boundless energy, an indomitable spirit and great intelligence – she was one of the first Lebanese women in Halifax to achieve a university education. Pat was a cherished and adored mother, grandmother, wife, aunt and friend. Anyone who met her never forgot her beautiful blue eyes, and the way she held the room captive with her stories and laughter. She left us with many traditions and memories – fruitcake making at Christmas, pickling from the fall harvest, road trips to visit family in the US and endless days and nights at the family cottage. Her legacy is the family she left behind and the lives she touched along the way. She will always be loved and missed.
