Additional $700,000 in funding will be made available to support further grief and emotional wellness initiatives across Nova Scotia
Halifax, NS – September 24, 2025 – The Nova Scotia Hospice Palliative Care Association (NSHPCA) announced today that the application process for the Healing Pathways Community Funding Grants will officially open on September 29, 2025.
The program invites eligible non-profits and community-based groups partnered with non-profits across Nova Scotia to apply for funding that supports local grief, loss, and emotional wellness initiatives.
“These grants provide communities with the tools and resources to respond to grief and loss in ways that are compassionate and community-driven,” said Tim Guest, Executive Director of NSHPCA. “We are pleased to continue building capacity in communities across the province.”
The Healing Pathways Community Funding Program is delivered by NSHPCA with funding from the Government of Nova Scotia. Organizations interested in applying can review the eligibility guidelines here.
