Our dad was deeply loved by all who knew him. He was a good, kind, and faithful son, husband, father, brother, uncle, and grandfather. After immigrating to Canada from Lebanon in his late teens, he embraced his new home with pride—cheering on his beloved Montreal Canadiens and celebrating Canadian life—while always holding close his Lebanese heritage.

He was a decorated and respected member of the Knights of Columbus and remained deeply involved in his Catholic faith through Our Lady of Perpetual Help and Our Lady of Lebanon parishes. His life was filled with simple, meaningful joys: the vibrant, bountiful gardens he nurtured at home and at the cottage, and, above all, the precious time he spent with his grandchildren—the loves of his life (alongside our mom, of course!).

Our dad taught us the quiet strength of forgiveness and the enduring value of a life rooted in peace. He lived with gratitude, always content and thankful for God’s many blessings.

When we miss him most, we make a conscious effort to go out of our way to show kindness to others—a warm smile, a helping hand, a thoughtful compliment. These small acts reflect the way our dad moved through the world: with quiet generosity, humility, and grace. It is one of the most meaningful ways we can honour his memory.

If you are reading this, we invite you to carry a piece of his spirit forward by doing the same. Let your kindness ripple outward, just as his always did.
